I've run every year (bar last year when it was cancelled) since 2016. It's an excellent race - fast, flat and well organised, although you take your chances with the weather. No complaints about any of it although a little sad the T-shirt was replaced with a buff as I still wear all my previous HC shirts. I understand T-shirts may not be economically/ecologically viable these days but I can't see the point of buffs - I have quite a few, none of which I wear. Since it's a winter race, maybe offer the option of a long-sleeved race shirt, which entrants can pay a bit more for on top of the entry fee.

The course has a few twists and sharp turns in places, so take care of your footing, especially if using shoes with a lot of cushioning.

Great staff, volunteers, pace setters, and little touches

My 6th time of running. Very well organised for one of the bigger half’s in the area. Just wish they would change the start as it is a lot of people all jostling for a good position down narrow open residential roads with cars everywhere. Start on the main road and get it closed for 30 mins at the start. Definitely recommend though.

Free photos, nice medal , pacers , good communication , 4 water stations , free buff this year.

Don't expect too much shore support, but it was a blustery day and perhaps more will be out and about in other years

Slightly peeved to see so many people blatantly wearing headphones - I run with music all the time but didn't on Sunday because I was following the guidelines from the race organisers

Was really well marshalled too. Superb effort from all the volunteers

Really enjoyed it despite the wind! Nice to get a high 5 from Henry VIII too.
Pancake flat so would be fast if it wasn't windy. Only minor comment is that you have to look out for bollards etc and it could have done with a few more people handing out water at the stations. Otherwise, a really good event.

Please can you include a couple of free photos as part of the entry fee?
